A Re-Engagement Session is more than a photo shoot. It is a tribute to that special relationship between a man and wife. And the photos exist as beautiful by-products that pay tribute to their relationship. Their life becomes the art and my camera becomes the canvas upon which it is painted. It is very well suited for married couples but the concept can also be applied to siblings, old friends, parents and grown children, or any other set of meaningful relationships.
It began with Ben wanting to give his beautiful bride of 4 years a gift on their anniversary that they did not have prior to their wedding, so we started by answering a questionnaire that serves as a detailed consultation to prepare for the shoot. Then we worked together to plan a date (dinner, a hike, shopping, pottery making, time at home, whatever made sense for them). On the date I came prepared with a custom set of cards designed to get you talking to and about one another. I guided them through this process and placed them into flattering poses but the emotions that I photographed were completely candid. When the timing felt right I could snap away as they were totally into the moment and each other to produce some fantastic images they will love for a lifetime.
